None of the top executives or minister knew of the issues at ! I am not surprised, is heavy with executives and has a complex, bewildering and out-dated organisational structure.

This structure leads to poor information flow and self protecting behaviour. There is little or no reward to speak up about things you have seen and heard.

I identified a policy to stream-line the executive in the public service.  This is the first step in bringing sunlight to the health system, creating a culture where issues are revealed and properly dealt with.

It’s time for a clean-out at SA Health.
